Vehicle Detail

I am selling this car because I am moving to Manhattan and I don't have a place to park it. It is a hard decision for me to make, but I don't want to pay $700 a month just to store and not have the chance of driving it on the weekends as I frequently as I am used to. I must be honest with you. I don't know a lot about classic cars. I am a computer guy (this is me!) that always wanted to have a muscle car. I bought the car a couple of years ago in good working condition and I invested a lot money (over $10,000) on it at the Steven & Francine's Shop, in Manhattan. They specialize in classic car restoration. I don't remember everything they did to the car, but it included a new braking system (I always want to make sure the breaks pretty well) and the replacement of many mechanical parts that were old. A couple of years ago the car was in a minor crash (it was rear-ended by a Toyota Corolla). The damage wasn't too bad, but we were able to get the insurance to pay, among other things, for a full paint job for the back of the car. That is why the paint job there is almost perfect :) The car is in great shape. I drive it every now and then on the weekends. It has, however, some issues that you must be aware of: Most of the lights of the dashboard don't work. I haven't had the time to check what the problem is. It may be a fuse for all I know. The rails of the small window on the driver side are not working properly. As such, you have to be careful when lowering said small window. The modern radio inside of the globe box doesn't work. The original one, though, works perfectly! As you can see in the pictures, the paint job in the front of the car and the doors has several scratches. The mechanism that locks the roof on the right hand side of the car doesn't fit perfectly. It, however, locks the roof in place. I have driven the car over 100mph with no issues whatsoever. As you can see, I didn't wash the engine to take the pictures. :P Here you have 144 pictures of the car. View the slide show below, or view them in Flickr. (the beautiful model in the car, my wife, is not included in the purchase price) Here is a video of the car while being operated in a sunny and windy day: Questions? Want more pictures? Feel free to email me! Among other things, we got a new bumper a new tail light. Also, as mentioned above, the insurance paid for a full paint job for the back of the car, even though the damage was only around the bumper area.
