This is a 1978 Datsun 280z two door five speed sports car. I've owned this car since 1984. The car had 66000 miles when I purchased it. The car now has 88000 miles. I've put 20000 miles on it since 1984. It has been garaged kept with a car cover since I've owned it. It has its original white paint. The car is stock original throughout except for the wheels. I put on 1979 280zx wheels back in the late 1980s. I have the original hub caps and will include these in the sale. The car hasn't been started in about 12 years. I drained and put fresh gas in it and a battery on it last summer and it cranked but didn't run. It doesn't have a battery on it now. The last time I drove this car, it ran perfectly, air conditioning was great (however, this was 12 years ago) The dash has no cracks. The roof liner came off. I have it and it's in very good condition. It just needs to be re-glued to the roof. There is some rust on the rear chrome bumper. Very little to no rust anywhere else. The carpet is original and needs to be replaced due to age and fading in the hatch area. It needs an antenna. The tires hold air but are over 20 years old. The rear photo of the car shows some spots. These are bugs from taking the cover off. These are not scratches. I was keeping this car drive when my career didn't require me to travel. The car is very sentimental to me. My Dad helped me find and buy this car when I was in college. I'm having trouble parting with it, but I realize it's just not practical for me anymore.
