1970 c10 v8 307ci 3 on the tree manual. Love this truck but the timing chain flew off and dose not run.Has new chin and other parts now.I put most of it back together (just needs the water pump fan and radiator put in...easy) before I got in a fight with the landlord for having my truck apart.Have not touched the truck from then.The next step for me was to run a compression test on all the cylinders see it the heads are ok, mostly the valves are what Iam worried about. Like I said I just stopped, never got the tester, never even set the timing, its all there but cant finish it as I will get kicked out.Has new -used (low mi) Saginaw 3 speed, tape player, new speakers, new tires, just an old truck that everyone seems to like and talk to me about...Iam like "this old ranch truck". Got in a fight with a tree and bent the front bumper,grill some(see pic) and little dents around the truck -no tailgate- org black CA plates, org owners manual with check of sheet from 1969 by GM plant. I did not cut the dash in any way as the truck is so original also why I stayed with the 3 on the tree. I started to install an AC unit kit(have rest to finish) but its not done. If I cant get anything for it I will just ship it out to my parents house till Iam older and finish school, clean title in my name(in hand), has reg and was my driver everyday until the chain came off. Thies things are becoming hard to find all org. as most have been lifted, lowered, or are all hacked up. I can take more pics and answer any questions, have an A.S. degree in Automotive Technology so blast away-not a seller who dose not want to help. Thanks for your time ~have order paperwork form Summit Racing for the new parts. bad video of the truck sorry-link fixed- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgNiQgg3k4g -For people that emailed me asking if they can put it back together to see if it runs ....sure you can just not at my house that would be the hole reason that Iam selling it, I cant work on it any longer.I charged the battery, it did crank right over but let off a nasty back fire and died so once aging walked away.I just wanted to see if the engine made any other sounds when it cranked but it did not and sounds like it did before it stopped running.. quiet. Fix it or throw a SBC in it either way you will have a runner. If there is a winner I will also include a trans jack and the old saginaw 3 speed if wanted(busted). thanks
