1969 Z28 camaro. This is a project restoration car in my opinion. This car was manufactured in Norwood Ohio. Car was built 3rd week of OCT in 1968. Vin indicates it is V8 sport coupe and the 25427 car off the assy line. X code started at 44001. There is plenty of info online to verify this. I have owned it since 2003. It is possible this car is a clone. It does have air which I was told was added later. I have looked for the protecto plate, and I have also look for the build sheet. I cannot find either. The car was redone in the early eighty’s. It has black cherry wood interior. No vinyl top. Here is what the cowl tag reads: · St 69 12437nor1555612 · TR 725 59 s · 10c 12437 sportcoupe 8cyl. NORWOOD, OH. 155612 seq. body build # 725 midnight green custom interior trim 59 frost green body color S green vinyl top, 10 = OCT, C is third week 1968 I do have a book to verify this, but do your own homework. . I have shown all the bad area in the photo provided the best I can. It is a good car to work with. This car includes the following: · Interior is nice. · Headliner, backseat, door panel, glass, front clip are real nice. · There is one dent in front by the hood. · Front bucket, dash, instrument panel, door and rear quarter panel are decent. · In the back where the speakers are located is not factory interior. · This car has a 10 bolt rear end. I think it is a 3.08. · It pretty much has everything except the engine. · 4sp Borg Warner. Hurst competition plus shifter. · Nice cowl hood (steel). · Floor pan has holes in front of pan, trunk pan has hole just starting on driver side frame rail look . · Rocker need replace. · Trunk lid is ? · Frame look fine.
