1995 Porsche 993 C2. Last generation of the air cooled 911s is a true classic. This car is constantly the source of compliments at traffic lights and gas stations. Beautiful white and rare red full leather interior. CONDITION: Car is in excellent mechanical condition. Drives and runs very well. NO reliability concerns. New brake pads and rotors at 70,500 miles. New belts, spark plugs, alternator, pollen filters, K&N air filter, alternator pulley update at 75,000 miles. New rear tires at 75,000 miles (will probably need replaced within next 10K miles). New front tires and full front and rear alignment at 84,000 miles. Right front tire is different tread pattern and brand than other tires due to flat tire last week after punctured tire due to screw/road debris (right front is Kumo where rest of tires are hankook). This is due to availability of tires at nearest service center at time of flat tire and being too far to rely on spare for the journey home. Faulty central control unit power supply replaced at 91,000 miles. New steering rack within last two weeks to correct bad seal on original rack. Last oil and filter change at 92,800 miles Interior is in excellent condition: 9 of 10. A/C works great. A/C compressor replaced and upgraded 134a at 60,000 miles. All power windows, sunroof, on board computer, and all electrical switches fully functional. No tears in leather. Shift boot is slightly worn at top. Exterior is 8.5/10. Front fenders, hood, and bumper reconditioned and re-sprayed this spring - very quality work looks new. New Porsche hood crest and front bumper gasket at same time. Minor nicks, chips and small scratches around car as expected for 15 year old car that has been driven, but no major dings or flaws - attempted to show in photographs. It is very clear that the exterior has been well-cared for and maintained over the years. Wheels have curve rash around edges (please send message or call for photos of imperfections and wheels). FEATURES: Full leather option (rare on non-turbo cars) includes stitched dash and center console and supple leather option front and rear seats, M030 sport suspension, Limited slip differential Automatic Breaking Differential, On Board Computer with display window in centered tachometer, heated front seats. Aftermarket 18" turbo twist wheels. Original 17" Carrera Cup II wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires with less than 3000 miles of use are still available if interested. HiFi 10 speaker audio system upgraded with MB Quartz 6.5"/4.5" component system with tweeters in the doors and stock speakers in rear. Powered by Alpine PDX amplifier. All speakers mounted in stock locations to maintain a stock look. Stock head unit replaced to with JVC KD-AVX77 touch screen display that features bluetooth unit and in glovebox plugin for Ipod. All additions maintain a stock and very elegant look. Audio upgrade gives it a much improved sound, but the best sound track is still the engine. After market HID (4300 Kelvin) headlights greatly improve night time driving. HISTORY: Clear title. I am the third owner of the vehicle. The car was first purchased in Knoxville, TN and owned for 11 plus years. Second owner purchased in 2006 in Birmingham, AL. I purchased in May 2009 with 72,000 miles. I have always garaged the car since I have owned it, and judging by it's condition I would guess the same was done by previous owners. Extensive maintenance records are available from 60000 miles until present. I have always loved the Porsche 993 since they were first introduced, and purchased this vehicle after months of searching. I am a very competent mechanic and enjoyed working on the car almost as much as driving it. I made a 3500 mile road trip with the vehicle from Tampa to Chicago and back this spring with no problems. I love this car and have worked hard to restore and modernize it, and had planned additional projects. I am now only selling this car as work is moving me to Chicago, and I do not want to subject the car to the harshness of the long winters and city parking.
