Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my beautiful 1935 Dodge KC pickup truck. It was restored to original sometime in the late 1980's or early 1990's, and prior to my ownership. It has a six cylinder flathead engine, three speed transmission with a rare factory overdrive. The overdrive allows this truck to cruise comfortably between 55-65 mph, a rare attribute in a vehicle this old. The engine runs smoothly, has good acceleration and doesn't burn oil. The transmission and overdrive work perfectly. The truck body is in very good condition. The paint looks great and complements the truck nicely, but on close inspection you can find minor defects here and there, such as dust, orange peel & edge chips. There is a very small indent in the left side of the front bumper, that you may be able to see in a picture. Truck is all steel, and as an older restoration their is minor surface rust (no weakened metal) here and there on the undercarriage. All the guages work, the windshield and both side windows open and close, and the doors close solidly. The upholstery is like new excepts for one 3/8" cut on the vinyl seat where it meets the seat back. It is not visible unless you move the seat bottom, forward from its normal position. The woodwork is a work of art. Both the storage box and bed rails are solid oak, with brass fasteners and chrome hardware. You won't find either craftsmanship or material with more quality than this. Truck has a clear Washington state title. License plate does not go with the truck. Vehicle is sold "as is" with no warranty. Buyer agrees to submit a $750.00 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end, with the remaining balance to be paid in cash or check within 7 days. If paid by check, vehicle will not be shipped until funds are collected. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I will not accept bids from anyone who doesn't have at least ten positive feedbacks, plus a Paypal account with a confirmed address, unless that person emails me first and furnishes a phone number so I can contact them.On Aug-02-10 at 17:57:24 PDT, seller added the following information: A few things I forgot to mention: This truck has a 6 volt electrical system. I replaced the 6 volt battery about 6 weeks ago. The fog lights are not wired into the electrical system, but all the other lights to include headlights, tail lights, brake lights, blinkers, dash lights and guages work fine. I will include two chromed radiator cap hood ornaments with the sale. One is the Ram ornaments which has one broken horn that can probably easily be restored because I have the broken-off horn. The second hood ornament is beautifully chromed, as is the Ram ornament, but a less flashy ornament that I've seen on other 1930's Mopar vehicles. All chrome on this vehicle is outstanding including the hubcaps. I'll try to upload some more detailed photos shortly. If there is anything about the way this vehicle's operation that isn't "up to snuff", its that it's noticeably cold blooded. Upon acceleration, especially when cold, it hesitates a second or two before the power kicks in. After the hesitation, it has good power and the engine runs strong.. When I bought this vehicle the seller said you can drive this truck all day at 55-65 mph. He was right then, and I think its just as true today.
