You are looking at a very rare one of the first 190E models that Merceds-Benz of Germany produced. This is a 1986 possible collectors edition Benz that is in pretty good shape. I am the second owner who purchased the car from the original owner in 2003. The title has remained opened since I have aquired the car. The car has only been driven very short distances and has remained in storage for almost 10 years now. I have held onto this car with intention of restoring but have no time for her and limited space as I have sold my 12 car garage. I will try my best to explain the car as best as possible and answer any questions you may have. Please keep in mind this is an old car and will need to be towed. The car runs but I would not suggest driving it home due to the fact that it has been sitting for a while and will need a tune up and new gas. Odometer reads aprox 96k miles but the title is exempt due to the age of the car. The body is straight with no dings or dents. The paint still shines very well and has little or no rust and would detail very niceley upon polishing and waxing. The undercarrage has two rust spots where the car's jack plates are which is not serious nor affect the drivability of the car. The two rust spots could easily be repaired by an amature with some bondo and undercarage paint. The head lights and rear tail lights work and are in tact. However the driver's side parking light has a small crack in the plastic. no big deal. The tire still have plenty of tread and are not dry rotted for their age. The car comes with a full size spare. The interior is imaculate with no tears and the leather still feels very soft and elegant like a Mercedes should. The steering wheel is in excellent condition and shows absolutley no signs of wear or tear. The headliner looks brand new. The windows and glass all look great and are clean with no scratches or cracks.The carpets are clean with no stains and have been well taken care of. I have tested all of the electronocs which seem to work fine with the exception of the power moon roof. Not sure why it is no working. The heat and AC both work, however the AC will need recharging to be super cold. The radio is an after market cd radio which works well. The engine starts and runs well. All components seem to be in working order best of my knowledge. Like I mention the fuel has been sitting for a long time so the fuel system may need to be bled and retunes which is not un comon for these models. Anyone who knows aboiut 190's will tell you that the fuel system and fuel distrobution units often times may need re tuning. I have not have any time in my busy schedule to work out all the bugs and like I said the car seems to start and run fine with the exception of the bad fuel. The battery may also need to be replaced but it starts and will hold a charge for a few days to a week with out starting. The car also comes with the original owners manual and service manual complte with dealer stamps from past services 20 pluss years ago. This is a great car for a Benz collector to aquire or new project for any car lover. Good luck bidding and I look forward to meeting and discussing any question you may have.
