Hello, and thank you for viewing our auction. Here we have a 2006 Volkswagon Jetta TDI, with just under 53,000 miles. We are the original owners as we purchased this vehicle new in Scottsdale, AZ in August 2007 from North Scottsdale VW. Have the clean and clear TX title in hand with no liens. Was titled in AZ its first half life then we relocated to NE TX where it is titled currently. We have made a few trips from AZ to TX and back with this car. Has always been a southern car, never exposed to snow, ice, and salt. This Jetta TDI is a diesel, automatic transmission and typically can get 50+ MPG highway driving. Very economical to drive. It is black exterior with tan leatherette interior. Bucket seats up front, PS, PW, PDL, Cold AC, Cruise control, four wheel disc brakes, AM-FM CD MP3 player that holds like 5 or 6 discs and is satellite capable, two modes in driving the automatic transmission, normal, and sport. Also has a large trunk with push button open, traction control, daytime running lights, factory alarm system, key fob for locking, unlocking the car, and opening the trunk, tinted windows, aftermarket Enkei (or Superior, can’t remember exactly which) custom wheels with the new tires installed. Also have and will include the original OEM wheels (no tires) that came on the car (one pictured), although they are pretty dusty and may be scuffed up from storage. Has an onboard monitoring system which helps in trips as it shows like miles and time driven, how many more miles to go before fuel is required, average speed and MPG. We just had the vehicle serviced and new tires installed less than 500 miles ago. This vehicle has never been involved in an accident or wreck. Nothing wrong with this vehicle mechanically, runs great, has never let us down and has never needed repairs, only scheduled maintenance which we have had done. This diesel runs clean and has the pickup and performance of a gas engine. Car is well insulated so you can not even hear the motor running while driving. The only reason we are selling this fantastic car is because we both lost our jobs, first the wife in March, then lost my work in June of this year. So we are selling this car to make do with one less vehicle, much to our dismay. There are a few scuffs on the car, I included photos of the front bumper scuff, and the rear bumper minor damage when I backed into a sign. I am sure a little buffing or wax would take out some or most of the scuffs mentioned. Also there is some chaffing on the tan leatherette at the end of the emergency brake release button. And finally, the windshield has some light surface abrasion like scuffing from the wiper blades, again, I am sure this could be buffed out. We put a Buy-It-Now option on the listing at $14,345.00, which is $300.00 below the KBB Private Party value of this car in good condition, KBB lists the retail value at $17,995.00, the Private Party value from $13,195.00 to a high of $15,545.00. If the vehicle sells with and only with the Buy-It-Now option we will include the Magellan portable navigation unit pictured. If the auction runs its course the vehicle will sell to the last highest bidder w/o the navigation unit included. We can deliver the vehicle for $1.40 per mile (minimum $100.00) and certainly would assist with the buyers shipper arrangements. Local pickup is preferred. Also we would meet at local airport if you decided to drive the vehicle away. I would not be afraid to drive this vehicle cross country. Full payment required before this vehicle leaves, and any form of payment other than cash could require a wait time for funds to clear before releasing the vehicle. Our current registration runs out in August and TX does offer temporary 30 day permits with proof of insurance.
