1952 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe 2dr SportscoupeA Jewel of the Desert brought back on the road ! After a 15 year hiatus in a field close to Phoenix AZ this 52 Chevy found a new lease on life Originally from Albuquerque NM, the car spend the last 30 yrs in Arizona. A sports-coupe resembles the business-coupe, but has a back seat. The body style is extremely attractive in spite of the pillar and lends itself as perfect basis for hot-rods. This Deluxe version came with a lot of features over the base model, including but not limited to: Fender skirts, heater, dome-light, two-tone interior, rear gravel guards, tank-door trim, rear sliding windows, clock, turn signals, etc. The body of this classic is well preserved and it looks to have whatever left of its original paint, with some touches of primer. The car runs and drives very nice. Inline 6 cylinder with a 3 speed on the column. Engine, brakes, clutch & transmission are in good working order. It required 4 new tires, a new coil, new 6 Volt battery and fresh gas to make it a driver. Whether you want a fun car to restore, a hot-rod in the making or a rat-rod candidate - this would be a great project. The body is straight except a dent in the left front fender and in the gravel guard. The windshield has a rock chip. However the drivers door glass is broken and unfortunately water sat in the carpets, causing the floor-pan to rust in an area ahead of the front seat. All else is solid sheet-metal. Fenders, rockers, quarter panels, wheel wells, trunk-floor, frame, are in good condition. The outside rear view mirror is missing and so is one hubcap. Interior needs to be completely redone. The odometer reads 08663 mls. It could very well be 108663 miles, but the clear AZ title does not show it as actual mileage. The car is locally for sale and the seller reserves the right to cancel the auction at any time. It is available for inspection with appointment.
