Vehicle Detail
I have a 1968 Dodge Dart 270 for sale. It's a slant 6 auto car that I was driving a few years ago, with the hope of slipping a big block under the hood someday, but I have too many projects and something has to go. This car is pretty solid all the way through the underside, floor pans are good front to back with maybe a few very small holes. The trunk is pretty solid as well, with a couple small holes, and the outer extensions a pretty good until they drop down and attach to the Quarter panels which is where the majority of the rust is at. Driver's side torsion bar mount is rusted, but replacements are readily available through the after market. As I mentioned the quarters are rusty, and the front fender lowers are rusty and there are a few holes throught the top of the fenders as well, but the inner front fenders are good and solid. All the glass is good with no damage, and they all roll up and down just fine. The dash pad has a crack but otherwise is complete and good, and there are a couple aftermarket temp and oil pressure gauges mounted left of the steering column. Front seat is a bench and has damage to the drivers side lower and upper pads, and the back seat has a black lower and a blue upper pad that are pretty good. Headliner has a couple mouse holes above the visors. It has 14" wheels in back that will hold air, and 13" in front (no, I don't know why. lol) which are brand new. Small bolt pattern, of course, and drum brakes all around. I have a new master cylinder for it, and I think I have new brake pads somewhere as well, but am not sure. I have a pair of new torsion bar rubber cups that go back at the rear mounts as well. I also have a set of A-body 4-speed pedals, which was part of my plan to convert this car into a big block 4-speed car. I will be listing a 66-67 383 with a 727 torqueflite auto that I had for this car in a separate listing. It's a good motor that was pulled from a low mile Polara. This is a solid car for restoration, people start with way worse and the majority of the work is in the external panels which is an easy fix. These cars are just plain bad-ass when restored and are quick when set up right. This car will need to be trailered, which should be a no-brainer, and I can deliver within a couple hundred miles, for a fee. This car is also being listed locally, so I am reserving my right to end this auction early. I do accept PayPal, and a non-refundable $500 deposit within 24 hours will be required, or I will re-list. Pick up at your convenience within the next two weeks with the rest of the money in cash if you'd like, or pay in full by PayPal at end of auction and you can come get it anytime you like, it's been sitting here for 5 yrs and another month or two won't hurt me a bit. Don't play games with me, you should know what you are buying by my description and the pics I have posted, this is a 42 year old car that has never been restored, so don't expect a cherry. Thanks for looking!
