1968 Chevelle Malibu This is a fun car that can be driven while it is fixed up, or simply drive it like it is without worries and feel like a kid again. This car was bought as a restoration project that just didn't happen, so now it is being offered here on Ebay. It has a 350 V8 with an automatic TH350 transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, and 12 bolt rear end. It has an SS hood and one 396 emblem but is not a factory SS. The car needs paint but looks to be solid overall. Frame, floors, and trunk look good too (see photos). There are a few primered spots where the previous owner started the body work getting it ready for paint. The engine compartment is clean and looks good. Although I don't have receipts, the motor and transmission are both said to have been rebuilt. It runs strong and I have no reason to doubt it. The motor has some nice performance goodies on it like - Edelbrock Performer RPM air gap manifold, ceramicoated headers, HEI ignition, gear drive, Edelbrock tall valve covers and billet timing chain cover etc. It doesn't smoke or run hot. The transmission shifts good and has a 2,500 rpm stall convertor. It has Rally wheels with 245/60/15 tires that are probably right at half life. It is street friendly. The interior has old seat covers on what appear to be the original seats. It is missing the radio in the dash and has been cut to fit a cd player. The headliner is missing too. I am posting 70 photos of the car inside, out, and underneath to show it's details and features. This is by no means a restored showcar and is what I would consider a good driver project.
