I bought this Disco for my wife to run around in. She feels like it is too big. I have only had it for a couple of months. I drove on several fairly long drives in pretty hot weather (one 80 mile and one 200) with no problem at all. The tires are about done - still have tread, but it's thin. The rear most muffler/tailpipe is shot. It starts right up, and drives normally. The low range and diff lock all work. a little bit of klunk between forward and reverse. I got this from a friend who bought it when it had 25000 miles on it. Have all his work records - a lot of oil changes - pretty much every 3 - 4,000 miles. Doesn't use coolant, doesn't smoke the engine isn't clattery. Yes it does have some leaks, but you show me a older Rover that doesn't leak. Email me if you have any questions.
