You are bidding on a 1970 Porsche 914, 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder. Garaged since '93 as ongoing project. New rocker plates and battery box have been installed. Car was stripped, primed and painted in '97. A 2 liter flat four was built by Johnny's in '98' Since then it's been driven less then 1000 miles. Runs strong, No Leaks! Duel Weber 44's feed it. New stainless steel heat exchangers and muffler. Urethane shift linkage kit installed, but 1st is still a long throw. Maybe more adjustment? Have short shift kit but everyone says it doesn't help, so never installed it. New speedometer cable installed last year, now it's the the little reduction gear at the tranny end of the cable that needs work. Turn signals are intermittent, could be the relay. Door latch on passenger side broke last month. $35.00 from Automobile Atlanta. Needs a interior carpet/seat kit. All knobs are there and work. No radio. Has passenger side mirror. New Windshield installed 1998. Headlights work and relays are good as lamp retract each and every time. Brake's are strong with new pads. I think I have all the electronic 1.7 injection system still too. Never could get it to work well. Fun and Fast. This is a toy that I have loved working on all these years. It is far from done. I have priced it low so someone else will hopefully pick up where I left off. It's a solid platform to continue on. I have reached a point in life that now requires some surgery and I won't be able to play with it anymore.
