Vehicle Detail

1946 FORD STREET ROD I have owned this car for the last 5 years or so. I has been a very dependable car. I have recently purchased another Street Rod so I am going to let this one go. Mustang 2 front end. Engine/Transmission from a low milage 1988 Ford 150 Van - 351 Windsor (Fuel Injection). The guy who put the car together was a Ford mechanic. He used about every part he could from the van. The wiring harness, gas tank, front seats, steering column, gauges. Rear end is out of a Maverick, not sure what year or gear ratio but runs 70 down the road with no problem. Mechanically is VERY sound. I bought this car from the person who built it. It has 2,295 miles on it since being put together. I was told the body was in excellent shape when it was started and I believe this to be true. During the time I have owned it I have seen no evidence of any filler on the car. I have found no rust on the car. The car has a very nice paint job. It has a few little places where road trash has chipped the paint and a few very light scratches on the clear coat from just being used. The ones on the clear coat could be buffed out. Interior is done with the exception of the headliner. Seats, door panels, carpet look good. There are no trim pieces holding down the carpet. The dash could use some work. It has a fiberglass aftermarket dash that has been covered in felt. The gauge cluster from the van was used and does not look as good as it could. All gauges work correctly but definately would look better with new gauges and the dash painted instead of covered with the felt. Has a set of 17" 2005 Mustang GT wheels and a new set of tires (235/55R/17) Since I have had the car I have put the following items new on the car: (Griffon Radiator) (Electric Fan Set Up) (New Headers/ Exhaust With Flowmaster Mufflers) (New Water Pump) (New Battery) I will be glad to answer any questions about the car. I am also selling this vehicle locally and reserve the right to end the auction ealy if it sells. This is a nice car that could be a very nice car with a few interior finishing touches. I would be interested in trading for something of equal value but please don't waste either of our time with junk. I like old (Nash's). Tony 931-260-6101
