This is a 1979 Ranger with a 460 engine in it. It is geared for 4.33? I really do not remember but it is geared low. It would be a really nice restoration project or tweaked out to go four-wheelin'. The guy I bought it from used it for a hunting truck. I used it to go out in the desert with the kids. It is at least a 6" lift. I had to have it towed due to two tires blowing out. It had an accident while towing. The guy towed it the wrong way which caused the top to come off. The top has been cracked and one of the windows popped out. The front windshield is broken from the top hitting it. I never put new tires on it. The back window motor needs to be replaced. The heater core is bad. I bought a new one but never installed it. Also the carburetor needs adjusting. I am no mechanic so I never messed with this. It had trouble starting when it was cold. I put a few drops of gas in the carburetor and it always started right up. The engine also leaks a little oil when driving 55 or more mph. The battery died and I never replaced it. Basically, if you are slightly mechanically inclined (unlike me) you can have this up and running in a matter of hours. It is not in running condition right now and will need to be towed.
