hello! i have a great car that you can jump in and enjoy immediatley at a very reasonable price. everything is new or just about new. the car has been a slow restoration project for many years. nothing is perfect on the car but extremely nice for the money. this is a 58 ford custom 300 4 door, short wheel base. there were 2 trim models, the spear trim model, and the gold anodized model. ( this one). i beleive the car was originally a 292 car but now has early 60s 352 or 390. it has a new holley 4bbl with electric choke that works well. the car always starts right up, even when hot, runs cool, and it has been hot here. it has standard three speed transmission with new clutch and pressure plate. it does not have first and reverse synchros, but shifts very nice. i replaced the stick rear end with an automatic and it is a much more drivable car like this. it has new radial tires, new dual exhaust,complete brake system including dual master cylinder gas tank cleaned and resealed.the guage does work. the car rides and steers great and is fun to drive. the front and rear bumpers have been rechromed as have the dual outside mirrors and the upper grille bar and center. the tail light bezels also were plated. this chrome work is outstanding and was 2000 alone. the turn signal housings in front are excellent originals. the hood scoop chrome could be freshened up. the interior is all new. seats, carpet, headliner, door panels, mouldings painted. again, real nice but not proffesional quality. it also has 4 new door sill plates. once again, the paint is very nice but not show quality. the car has had rocker panels, quarter panels replaced. very straight outside appearance. under neath just average work. the floors are very good and have not been replaced. it has a few small nicks in the blue, very little. i have the paint code. the the white is very nice, one small dink in the nose panel. the glass is very nice all the way around. all lights and turn signals work inside and out. radio works! clock and speedometer dont. emergency brake is working! vaccum wiper moves arms but i can here a leak. the trunk lock and keys work well but an internal piece is broke i am in the process of locating one. it will be included and repaired if i get it before the auction ends. i will send if not. please check the pictures and ask questions. i have tried very hard to remember everything. not a show queen, but i will say the car looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. yes you can come and look and drive. will help with shipping arrangments. might deliver. but transaction must be completed first. thanks!
