Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 69 Roadrunner (RM23H9G293513) with running matching numbers 383/727. The car is completely original to the best of my knowledge with the exception of long tube headers, missing front bench seat, and missing fuel tank and sending unit. The car was found in a barn in 2006 and was said to have been there since 1982. Since then (garage kept), the engine has had routine maintenance and runs pretty well, but smokes some then clears up. The hydraulic brake components were replaced, and the brake system works as good as a factory drum set-up should. The u-joints were also replaced. The ratty interior and carpet has been removed, and the perfect interior flooring has been sprayed with Eastwood’s Rust Encapsulator. That’s how the inside is currently. The doors open and shut smooth and effortlessly. The front and rear (coupe style) windows also crank perfectly. The body is very solid and has minimal rust. The trunk floor is rusted through but has been repaired at some point (Not correctly though). The drivers side lower rear quarter will need replaced, there is one small rusted through hole on the passenger side quarter, and the underside of the hood front lip is rusted through. Otherwise, no rust in any other area’s. Good frame rails, fenders, doors, floors, etc. I have driven the car once, approximately 30 miles to register it in the state of Indiana (it has a clear title). It drove fine, other than the front swaybar is broken, and the obvious (missing seat & gas tank). All of the lights, gauges, and components are present and work correctly. Overall the car is a perfect candidate for an easy restoration. Too many projects and too little time and money forces me sell this excellent project. My loss is your gain. Feel free to e-mail or message any questions or concerns. Specific pictures and information are available upon request. The vehicle needs to be towed unless very close, and of course buyer pays shipping. I can deliver for an additional charge negotiated BEFORE end of auction. Location is Evansville, Indiana. Thanks.
