Extremely nice 1966 Corvair Monza Coupe *****2ND CHANCE, SO CLOSE LAST AUCTION**** Up for your consideration is this very desirable and somewhat hard to find 1 family owned 1966 Corvair Monza coupe, serial # 105376W188084. This Corvair Monza has 52k actual miles and is equipped with GMs larger horizontally opposed air cooled 140 hp 6 cylinder motor and a 2 speed automatic transmission. This car is a one family owned vehicle that was purchased new, owned and remained in Hendersonville NC which is a very mild climate. It has Lemonwood Yellow paint and an extremely nice looking black interior. This 66 Corvair has not beens exposed to poor winters or road salt to deteriorate the body so it’s held up very well. Mechanically, this Monza coupe runs and drives great with a very nice sound coming from the dual exhaust system. The paint, body and interior are all in very nice driver condition as you can see from the many photos. The car has solid floor pans and trunk with no rust issues. It drives better than most and has no mechanical or electrical issues at this time. This car looks, runs and drives really nice and seems to get the attention everywhere you drive it. The tires are excellent B.F. Goodrich T/A’s mounted on very attractive 15” Z28 Camaro wheels that give this coupe a very sporty and up to date look. The brakes stop the car straight and true without issues. With our current economy, the collector car market can be a great place to invest your funds for the future. If this car is kept in its current condition, it should do nothing but increase in value while also giving its owner some fun on those weekend drives. To sum it up, this is a very nice looking 44 year old collector car with a great one family history and low mileage. It has solid floor pans, trunk pan and the body shows no signs of major dents, scratches or rust. The interior is extremely nice including the dash, carpet, door/rear side panels and seats. I believe this car is and will be an excellent investment opportunity while also being an enjoyable piece of history that you can drive and enjoy turn key. This Monza Corvair belongs to and is being sold by a friend of mine that has asked for my computer help advertising it on eBay.
