I bought this 68 Mustang from a friend of mine with the idea of fixing it up then I found a Camaro also so im going to sell the Mustang. This car has a strong running 302 in it and also comes with the original 289 which ran when pulled out but had bad lifters. Here is what my friend told me about the engine when I bought the car. 302 Standard bore with flat top pistons. Hyd 550 lift cam he wasnt sure on the specs but it does hit very hard. New 1.6 roller rockers. 1965 model Hipo heads with 1.94 1.60 valves. Stealth Intake Hei Dist. Headers exhaust dumps at axle. Has Holley 600 carb. This car runs and drives good but the carb is flooding and runs rich. Due to this buyer should want to haul the car home and not drive. Has 3 speed trans Trim tag on door is 65A 1 2G 06C 28 2 1 Body Color Trim Date DSO Axle Trans I can tell this car has been painted once body lines are very good body has typical rust like all Stangs but is a very good car to work with. Rear quarters are the worst spots. All info ive stated about engine is second hand I did not build it so I cant garuntee anything I dont know a Hipo head from a normal one. Car shows 99973 miles title shows actual but I dont know if this is correct. I think everything works except temp gauge. Has new gas tank.
