Here we have our 1983 Mercedes 300SD long wheelbase turbodiesel sedan. It is a southern car with zero rust. My daughter used it to go to College in North Carolina, and graduated 3 months ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTX4GCPC1jY We always serviced it correctly. In the 20,000 miles she put on it, we replaced brakes, vacuum pump, various window and power seat switches, and other general items. We recently installed a new interstate 93 battery, a new alternator, and new starter. All less than 100 miles on them. She then decided she would rather drive the '96 Volvo 960 we let her use while this work was being done. SO.........here is her car up for sale. She installed a new stereo. One of those fancy MP3, remote control, flashing lights deals. Sounds pretty good. The car is rock solid, never any rust anywhere. Everything works as it should. Power seats, Windows, etc. The odometer stopped working 2 months ago, but all other instruments are perfect. Tires are 80%, all lights work, seats and leather are good....no rips or tears. Mechanically, the car runs perfect. Starts and idles smooth, shifts perfect (we had a tranny service done 10,000 miles ago. Purrs down I-95 at 80 with the cruise on very smoothly. No shakes or shimmies, doesn't pull, and the air conditioning is ice cold. The turbo kicks in just as it should, and the car is very dependable (why we bought it). We have a clear South Carolina title in hand, and live in Hilton Head. If you wish, you could fly into Savannah airport (30 miles from us) and we would pick you up. You could then drive this car anywhere you need to go. It is ready for a trip accross the country. A $500. deposit by paypal is required within 1 day of purchase. Balance within a week. We are 20 minutes off I-95, so shipping the car shouldn't be a problem. We can help arrainge, but the cost would be yours. We have it for sale locally, and so if we want to, we reserve the right to pull the auction for any reason. (she may decide the Volvo isn't what she thought, and want her "toad" back.
