EnglishCarHunter Store 1955 Small Mouth Triumph TR2 ** No Reserve ** This is a wonderful starting point for someone to finish this solid, very rare, TR2 that you can enjoy driving immediately. This is a running, driving, stopping roadster that is looking for a owner who wants to drive it while putting the finishing touches on it. This car was purchased in an Estate Sale last fall. It was a stalled restoration. I bought it because of its very solid frame, solid floors, straight body panels, and solid spare tire compartment (a weak point in the TR2's and TR3's for rust). This one, as you can see from the pics, is completely solid. The odometer reads 41k. I have to believe it is true, and not 141K simply due to the overall condition of the car. I installed a new carpet kit, ignition switch, and choke cable. The car starts right up easily. It comes with a soft top frame, but not a soft top or side curtains. The parts that you see are the parts that came with the car when I bought it. I was recently blessed with the birth of my daughter, so I am all about changing diapers and bottle feedings in the middle of the night now. I no longer have time to play with this car, so I'd like it to go to the next owner who enjoys top-down motoring in an English Classic. As stated above, this is a running, driving, stopping TR2 !!
