ILL TRY AND BE AS DESCRIPTIVE AS I CAN ABOUT THIS TRUCK! 1ST OFF IT DOES INDEED START AND MOVE/DRIVE/STEER AND BRAKE ! A/C BLOWS ICE COLD! HERES THE SITUATION WITH THIS VERY NEAT FACTORY 4.6 V8/5 SPEED/4X4 1998 F150 STEPSIDE,LOL---IT IS MISSING ON CYLINDERS 1 AND 2 (PASSENGER SIDE FRONT TWO CYLINDERS) it doesnt seem like they are firing properly or even at all???? a frind said it could be head gasket or coil packs but hes not sure and neither am i! it doesnt overheat but does seem to smoke a little bit when first started then it seems to clear up a bit if not go away all together???? the truck is originaly from pa. so the body i dont believe has any rust at all! very clean body! it does indeed have a couple small dings and scrapes! its not showrrom by anymeans and i wont portrait it as such either! interior is very decent overall in my opinion! the windshield is cracked and the factory radio is missing! overall i think this would be a very cool truck to fix or lightning clone and best yet its a 5 speed and trans shifts great! never tried the 4x4 and dont know if it works or not? it does have a bedliner in the rear and tires are so-so---like i said it will start run and drive but it does miss on a couple cylinders and you can tell when your driving that it is as well!! this truck is perfect for a mechanic or someone who wants to take some time with the motor and minor knick knacks and have a very nice truck!! this combination is very hard to find in the f150 line from 97-03! well if you have any questions or would like to see the truck its located in warren mi 48089! it is for sale locally and i do reserve the right to end this auction at anytime due to a local sale!! if your serious about this truck then bid/call me! thanks for your time and have a great summer. 586-563=8589 is my number if youd like to call.
