If you're looking for an excellent running, greatlooking, reliable and durable car that's in fantastic shape, then this is the car!! This baby has a low 256,000 miles (10k a year) with a strong engine and transmission. It purr's along without effort or smoking and gets up and moves when you floor it. She rides and handles beautifully, has a clean title, great body, great interior with no rips, tears or wear spots, 75% tread on 60,000 mile all season tires including a full size spare on matching rim, shiny chrome (including wheel trim), over-all the paint is great/shiny for it's age with only a couple minor flaws, great power sunroof that works and doesn't leak a drop (neither do the doors or windows) , great headliner, good carpet, good as new dash without cracks (new carpetlike dash cover included), all wood trim is beautiful, original Becker tape deck/radio works great as does the antenna, all original manuals/id cards/plaques etc...also has a block heater! I bought this fantastic little gem from a local senior couple who took very good care of her for over half of her life. Aside from having a Mercedes Tech drive her and tell me she seemed to be in great condition I had a pre-purchase inspection done at Meineke and found out the car was in great shape overall. As with most cars of this age there was a small list of preventative items the shop recommended be taken care of so I had them work their way through the list. The car is now in tip top shape and is a real joy to drive. The perfect car for Biodiesel conversion!! I know the prior owners had major a/c work done , a new rear differential installed, turbo assembly, intake manifold, trap oxidizer, mono valve I had the following done; Tune-up Oil (the $6 kind)/filters/lube Mercedes Oil and gas additives/protectant Fuel filters All belts Water Pump Transmission service and piston replacement Vacuum pump (super important on these cars so engine isnt destroyed if chain breaks) High performance Wipers and blades with refills included Four wheel alignment Front tie rod assembly Throttle linkage serviced and adjusted included are a lot of receipts and some miscellaneous parts that came with the car when I bought it, brake pads, headlight, fuses, bulbs, haynes repair manual etc... What needs help; intermittent wiper setting does not seem to work, low and high work fine left rear window doesn't go down all the time clock does not work sometimes (very rarely) the cabin heater fan vibrates for a minute center console vents don't blow very hard, all others work great, all settings work great prior owners disconnected the alarm (they said they got tired of it going off when they were at church) small scratch on the right side face of the trunk lid dollar bill sized spot on passenger side under the windshield on vent/ wiper strip has the paint top coat worn away (you don't even notice unless you're looking for it) wheels/rims could use repainting The apparent discolorations etc..(like on the seats) are light and shadows from sun through the trees!
