Please Read Carefully: Hello, Here is a chance to buy a very nice Subaru Forester at a bargain price. I have a low buy it now price and am selling this car with a NO RESERVE AUCTION. The highest bidder gets this car. I am selling this at a wholesale deal - You can buy just like the dealers do. This car is in as traded condition. It looks good, runs good and has plenty of options desribed below. The car runs and drives excellent. But it has a problem that can be corrected. After running down the road at accelerated speeds the temperature guage climbs to the high range indicating that it will overheat. I replaced the thermostat and flushed the radiator but the problem continues. Apparently it needs a head gasket. Although there are no extreme signs of burning smoke or leaks - it is apparently the head gasket. If you are a backyard mechanic you can do this job for under $200.00. If you know a mechanic who works part time or has a small garage you will be paying around $500.00. Otherwise you would pay up to $900.00 or better for the complete repair. My advice is that you make the arrangements before you bid. If you shop around or know somebody - you can get a good deal. When you bid I will assume that you have this in order. I don't know for sure that it needs a head gasket - but the conditions indicate it. I m selling the vehicle as-is because of that. However, I will attest that this vehicle idles smoothly and does not overheat when Idling. It only heats up when driving and accelerating. The car drives straight down the road. The brakes, exhaust, and tires are all good. You will be getting a good car here. And I am selling it cheap. You may purchase an extended warranty on this vehicle - if you pay more than $2500 for it. Has plenty of power at all speeds. Drives down the road straight and smooth. Automatic Transmission shifts smoothly at all speeds with no problems., Has a good ride. This is a good looking black beauty. Not perfect but looking good. Only has minor imperfections normal with a used vehicle. NO ugly rust or dents. Shines nicely and has no body problems. There iis no ugly rust or dents. There are mnior scratches and some small dings common with any used car. There are a few small spots of paint bubbling and touch up paint in a few small areas. Aprox 1" above the rear wheel wells, and some touch up under the door handles. Overall, this car shows very nicely - especially for the model year. INTERIOR & COMFORT: The interior of this Forester is roomy and comfortable. There is plenty of room for five adults and ther is good leg room in the back seat. There is plenty of cargo area. The dash and trim is excellent. The seats, carpet, dash and trim are excellent. This is a clean interior with no foul odors. This a very nice interior. It is not "showroom" clean but is good to very good condition for the model year. Because I am selling it as a "wholesale Unit" I have just quickly cleaned the interior. You may want to do a little better job.
