1956 CHEVROLET This is an excellent running, looking, and driving '56 2 door post. The car is dark gray with black and silver interior. It is powered by a freshly rebuilt 350 V8 (casting number 3970010) that has been dressed with an Edelbrock carburetor and intake, Hooker headers, HEI ignition, etc. The car also comes with power disc brakes. The transmission is a rebuilt Muncie 4 speed with a new clutch and a Hurst floor shifter. The 350 / 4spd combo really makes the car fun to drive. New 235/60/15 radial tires are mounted on Eagle Alloy aluminum wheels. The rear end is a 10 bolt chevy with new shocks and leaf springs. The car rides and drives excellent. Interior looks new because most of it is. This '56 does not have windshield wipers, a radio, heat, or /A/c. It is a bare bones hot rod that is very fun to drive. It comes with all new tinted glass and most all trim/chrome is new too. This is a good driver quality car and is not being represented as a 1,000 point show car. It starts right up, runs cool, shifts good, stops good etc. Lights and signals work fine. The car has far too many new items to list. There are a few small paint flaws here and there (see photos) but the paint looks good overall.
