This auction is for a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop. It has a 283 V8, Carter 4 barrel, and a 3 speed transmission with overdrive. The car is extremely nice with a fresh paint job but has all original sheet metal which is very straight. This car belongs to a friend of mine and he has owned the car for 7 years and knows the previous owner had it for 16 years. He was told he was the 3rd owner and it has a clean Indiana title that shows this car is actual miles. The chrome is in excellent shape for a driver but I did see one place the size of a dime on front bumper that looked as if it was peeling. The interior is in great shape and looks factory fresh, that is until you open the glove box and see the hidden cd player. He gave me a list of items he has replaced on the car. The list is huge and totals over $8400 but here is a few--Side view mirrors-dome light lens-chrome headlight shields-chevrolet emblems-gauge lens-heater knobs-all antennas-a frame bushings-exhaust-brakes-wheel cylinders-turn signal switch-battery-rebuilt carb-fuel pump-horn switch. Way too much to list. Please only bid if you are interested in buying and paying for this car.
