Very well maintained by the seller who has owned this sportster for the last 12 years, and garaged all but 2 years. Exterior polishes nicely. Interior very clean but leather seats have cracking from sun; exterior has a few small "door" dents plus some paint chipping as shown in pictures and a crack in right rear view mirror frame. Power windows, power seats, power exterior mirrors and power convertible top all work fine. Boot covers top when down. Convertible top is in excellent condition. "Targa" piece for convertible top is included. Brakes, tires and battery were new at 106,500 miles (now at 108,500 miles). This is the original engine and original clutch - 5-speed manual shift works smoothly and the rotary engine works fine. Car cruises smoothly at 3500-4500 rpm with lots of power to accelerate from there. For those sunny convertible days, there are stereo speakers set in headrests in addition to normal car speakers. The headrest speakers have independent separate volume controls. Original AM/FM/CD/Tape system; power antenna may need to be replaced as sound a bit scratchy when in AM/FM mode due to low reception, but speakers are fine with CD. AC/heat work fine. Retractable headlights and fixed fog lights and everything works. There is a driver's side air bag. This has always been a non-smoker's car and no pets have enjoyed riding in her - she smells good. Fuel consumption approximates 13 mpg in city and 16-18 mpg on expressways. Original floor mats are in decent shape. Interior dash looks very good - no dings.
