Vehicle Detail
This is a custom drag radial Mustang that I have been building for the past 2 years. I am only selling this because I am about to get married and we just bought a new house, so some of the toys gotta go. I have invested a lot of money in this car, over $25,000. My loss is your gain. All of the parts have 0 miles on them. The only time this car has left the garage was to get painted and to have the cage welded in. The list of everything I have includes: 1989 Mustang notchback, painted speedway blue-- The most desireable body style. The rollcage is a custom 25.5 made with Chromoly. It connects to the frame rails and the rear suspension. Very sturdy. It is painted silver. The custom made sheetmetal wing that has Skinny Kid Race Cars strut rods. Engine--- This is an engine from a 03 Cobra. I have the block, cylinder heads, and a few other pieces from the motor. I have solid motor mounts for it also. The turbo is a 91mm precision turbo. It has an A/R ration of 100. Front suspension--- UPR tubular K-member with the engine mounts for the 4.6 Mustang engine. The front struts are adjustable Strange Engineering with coilovers. UPR adjustable billet Caster/Camber plates. The rack and pinion is from Flaming River. Rear suspension--- UPR Pro Series kit. It includes adjustable upper and lower control arms, anti-roll bar. The rear shock are QA1 coilovers. The rollcage is tied into the rear suspension mount. The torque boxes are reinforced by Wild Rides Race Cars battle boxes. Competition Engineering wheelie-bars. Rear Axle--- The axle is an 8.8 it has had the axle tubes welded as well as braces welded on. It has a 3.73 gear with 35 spline Moser Axles and spool. The axles have 5/8 inch studs with C-clip eliminators. The diff cover is Moser also. Brakes--- The barkes are from Aerospace. The front brakes are the drag race setup. The rear are the dual caliper drag race setup. I have not installed the calipers because I do not have a master cylinder or the lines so I did not want to have them on there with no brake fluid. They are still wrapped in the box. . Interior--- I have 2 black Clubman Corbeau seats with the frames. I have most of the interior parts. When I bought the car the interior was already taken out and it was just sitting in a pile. I know it needs door panels. I have a new weatherstripping kit, exterior and interior door handles, and a new grille emble. I have the side windows and the quarter windows, but the rubber trim around the quarter windows are dry rotted, which is a common problem. I have a blue Moroso Battery box as well. It does need a front and rear windshield. Wheels--- Weld Draglites. Front are 15x3.5 and the rear are 15x10 with 325/50/15 BFGoodrich Drag Radials. The rear rims have the bead screws in them. Trailer--- The trailer is a 2010 Trailmater 8.5x28 foot enclosed car hauler. It has 4 D-rings in the floor. It has the upgraded 10k axles. It will also come with 4 10k ratchet and axle straps. I think that is everything Please email me if you have any questions and I will be more than happy to answer. I will look at all offers, I must sell. My loss is your gain. If you want to call my cell number is 901-849-5368. I do have a clear title for the car and trailer. Thanks
