This item is being relisted due to a non-paying bidder. Up for auction is a very nice 1987 Honda Helix Scooter. I bought this for my wife a little more than a year ago from the original owner. She does not feel comfortable riding in traffic, so it has just been sitting in the garage. It has just 1460 miles on it. That's right 1460 miles! It has a 250cc water cooled motor, which starts with the touch of a button and runs great. There are no gears to shift. Just turn the throttle and go. It will do about 70 mph. Everything operates as it should. The tires are in great shape. I did put a new gas tank in it, as the original had some rust in it from sitting around and I did not want any carburation issues. The black luggage compartment was added before I bought it. It can be removed and the original backrest, which is included, can be put back on if needed. The scooter comes with the original service manual, owner's manual and tool kit. It also has two sets of keys and I have a clean Ohio title in my name. It does have some scuff marks on the gray plastic on the right side. I tried to show them in one of the photos, but they didn't show up very good. Other than that, it looks just about like it did in 1987. You'd be hard pressed to find another like it in this condition. It is being sold as is and all sales are final. Bidding will start at $1450.00, which was the reserve price when I originally listed it. A $250.00 non-refundable deposit through Paypal is required within 24 hours after the auction ends.
