Up for auction is our lovely 1974 TRIUMPH TR-6, that needs absolutely NOTHING to be enjoyed immediately. This wonderful car has been pampered all its life. It has never been rusted and therefore never had any panel replacement, which is self evident by the laser straight panels and panel gaps. The door fit is perfect as is the hood and trunk fit. The previous owner had a racing shop install a complete upgraded and lowered suspension with red polyurethane mounts front and rear, all new ball joints and shocks (KONI adjustable in the front). This car handles like it is on rails and could be easily tracked on a club day. He also had the differential mounts re-inforced, and new mounts installed after the diff was completely rebuild. The transmission was also rebuilt at the same time, and you can really tell by how lovely this car shifts. It was the cherry on the cake when I bought it. The interior was recently redone with the original Wedgewood blue with new carpets, New carpet padding, New dash (teak as OEM), New door skins, New rear panels, New seat foam, seat springs, and New Seat upholstery. The car is Gorgeous and really looks fantastic in the white /blue theme. It sets itself apart from all the boring black interior cars. The most important thing on the TR6 is the motor; and boy is it a good one. 100% compression, starts on the first plug everysingle time all the time. It has the Petronix electronic ignition with new wires, distributor, belts and hoses. It is a lovely motor to run and it sound PHENOMENAL through the Bosal all Stainless steel exhaust which will last a lifetime. Needless to say, everything works as it should. Everything is top notch and this is the best british car I have ever driven. IT IS TURN KEY and will drive ANYWHERE. This car gets compliments wherever it goes; even while driving on the highway. EVERYONE loves this car. The RESERVE is way low to assure a quick sale. Lets see if we can find a good home for one the word's best Sporting Cars. To answer the many questions about the paint being original: I cannot possibly know for sure, but the car is uniformly the same color and texture everywhere, and there is no overspray anywhere like door jambs, or chassis, so it is possible that the paint is original.
