This car is like stepping into a time machine! Very clean interior in immaculate condition. Original paint still shines like when it was new. Exterior has no dents or dings just a few very small paint chips. I am very confident this car will easily go another 100k without any major service. The Odometer says 33845 but I am assuming it has rolled over once. Although, judging by its condition I would believe them if someone told me it only had 33k on it! -West coast car originally purchased at Al Hutchinson VW in corvallis, oregon on February 28 1980 -I have original owners manual and warranty/maintenance manual -Less than 1k miles on total motor rebuild The bad -2 or 3 small paint chips in the hood ( all of which are smaller than an eraser head) -1 small paint chip on drivers front fender and passenger door (both smaller than an eraser head) -1" hairline crack in the dash (very slight about 1mm separation) -Original radio does not work The Good -All original and in excellent condition in and out -garaged its entire life -incredibly straight -no dents or dings -interior is in excellent shape -No rust in the floors or the strut towers (not even in the rain tray or the gutters) -new michelin "X" radial tires -starts in all weather conditions new in 2010' Engine rebuild in 2010 including but not limited to: -rebuilt injection pump -injectors checked -new water pump -thermostat -glow plugs -new oil pump -new fuel pump -rebuilt head -new pistons -block bored out 1 repair stage -new rings, rod bearings -new crank seals -new timing belt -new alt belt -new fuel lines and fuel filter -new alternator -new air filter -new shifter bushings
