Hello! Before I describe this vehicle let me first explain what I do. My father owns 2 very successful dealerships and auctions. The way I make money is by stealing all the nice trades that come through his business and sell them here on E-bay. My cars are all safety inspected and I describe what they may need according to the mechanics suggestions. I have been in the business for as long as I can remember. I know how to describe a vehicle. I will do my best to describe the vehicle mechanically, exterior, and interior condition. I will rate them from 1-10, 1 being the worst. Please remember these are used vehicles and they are NOT perfect and I cannot describe every little scratch or blemish. If you are very fussy, LIKE I AM, than call me and ill be happy to walk around the vehicle and describe every panel to you. Believe me I’m more than happy to do that because I do not want you to be unsatisfied with a vehicle, and always want to exchange positive feedback. You will see that my feedback is honest but there are some people out there that are just out to tarnish a good track record. With that all being said please feel comforted that I am honest and trustworthy when selling a vehicle to the public. I would one day like to be half as successful as my father is in business! ;>) You are looking at a very nice example Mountaineer. This truck is loaded with lthr, roof, power everything, and ice cold air. Mechanically this truck runs and drives very nice for a 97. The brakes are good and tires have about 75% tread left. Mechanic says will need a serpenteen belt by 150k and could use a couple of front end bushings. Other than that you will enjoy every mile from this truck. She runs strong and has plenty of life left in this motor. No noises or smoke and it does not leak a drop or burn a drop of oil which is very typical for a ford product. The undercarrige is like new. Exterior i would rate a 71/2 of 10. Although she looks great in the pictures, AND LOOKS GOOD IN PERSON, there is wear in the paint but no door dings or a spec of rust or rot. The truck does have a little scrape down the passenger side rear quarter next to the brake light you can see in the picture. If you want i can have ding doctor work their magic however that would be an extra cost to you but they give me a great deal. Somthing like that would probably be around 80 dollars to fix up. Interior i would rate an 8 1/2 of ten. Despite the age, she still looks very good with no rips in the lthr but typical wear for a 97.
