Let me start by letting you know this car has a prior salvage title, with that being said I can tell you this is probably the cleanest 92 Miata on the planet, I have pictures from the previous owner of the car, the damage was to the bottom of the grill, and a small dent in the front fender. This car used to be silver, the previous owner blew it completely apart and painted not only the car, but the engine compartment, with the engine removed, and the door jams, it truely looks like it came from the factory black. If you are interested and live close enough I suggest you come ,look, and drive this car, it will impress you. As you can tell from the pictures the car is very nice cosmetically, a few rock chips and what appears to be some light scratches from a bra above the front plate,(see pictures) Iv'e never had a bra on it and I didn't notice them when I bought the car so I'm guessing thats what they are from. The bottom of this car is nearly as clean as the top, you will find a drop of trans grease about the size of a quarter on the floor only after it has been setting for a long period of time, no other leaks at all. Mechanically this car is super, no issues at all, just jump in and go, and it really is a blast to hit the curves around lake in. The heater will run you out, and the AC will freeze you out, Iv'e owned this car since 2005 and never needed to add any freon at all. Brakes are good, tires are good, about 1/2 tread, no weather checking, basically what I'm saying is this car needs absolutely nothing but a new owner, I just don't drive it enough to keep it, and somebody else should be able to enjoy it. HAPPY BIDDING On Jun-13-10 at 09:03:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a couple of things I forgot yesterday, and there's probably more, the timing belt was changed at 125000 miles, I changed the oil at the end of April before I drove it to Omaha for my dads birthday, the car gets 32-33 mpg on the highway, I changed the plugs and wires last fall, so it is ready to go. All of the marker lights, front turn signal, and third brake light I have change to clear lenses, tail lights are carbon fiber, wheels are BSA Racing, and there is a car cover that goes with it also. I also forgot to mention I have no trunk key, I just use the trunk release in the console, was always going to find a mazda dealer and have one made off the serial # but never did, also the air bag light flashes a code, and I can't get it to go off, truthfully I don't even see it anymore but you would. The steering wheel has been changed so the air bag is gone anyway, no chance if it inflating. I think thats all ! I WANT TO APOLOGIZE TO ALL WHO BID ON THIS IN GOOD FAITH WHEN I FIRST LISTED IT, I HAD A NON PAYING BIDDER WHO LIKED DOING IT SO WELL HE ALSO BOUGHT A CAR IN FLORIDA HE DIDN'T PAY FOR. THE ONLY THING I FORGOT TO LIST THE FIRST TIME IS IT ALSO HAS A NEW BOOT COVER FOR THE TOP WHEN IT IS DOWN, AND NOW THE CAR IS SPARKLY CLEAN WITH A FRESH COAT OF WAX.
