Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is a great running and driving classic project not far from a finished reality. It is powertrain equipped with a small block chevy(believe to be 350 but not era correct)4 bbl and a floor shift turbo 350 transmission with a shift kit.It is a non a/c car .The paint was done poorly, door jambs missed and might be corrected with what paint I have left but no guarantees as I am not a pro and am totally clueless on how far a pro can stretch a can of paint.I can get the name of the company the paint was ordered from though if you wish to order more. There are bubbles coming up,runs here and there and there are some rust spots missed under the driprail but not too serious. For that reason, there may be another place or so needing minor attention also. A friend did the work for me but really didnt have the facilities to do it properly. It does have an original ss396 hood off of a 69 chevelle with new hood grilles. The engine area has been nicely perked with black and red chevrolet valve covers and air cleaner. The floor pans have been replaced but the rear floor pans under the seat will need to have a little more sheet metal fitted as they did not meet completely to the back after properly fitting them to the front pans. The trunk pan is fine and has been trunk splattered nicely. The right rear quarter was replaced but left a little long so a good metal man could take care of that upon removing the rear bumper. The bumpers are usable condition with only chrome flaking on the bottom in places. The correct gap between the doors and fenders as well as other gaps will need to be adjusted to your liking. The windshield has been replaced recently and all other glass is good. The exhaust system is new 2 1/2 inch with flowmasters and sounds awesome. The front end has had all control arm bushings replaced as well as a few other worn pieces. The front end was aligned last week after the exhaust was completed.I have bought a headliner, sailboards, carpet with insulation, ready to hang door panels and other miscellaneous pieces for the interior with the exception of seat covers and rear armrests. It is a bucket seat car with the correct low back with side button. It has the correct era horseshoe floor shifter and console. The car was originally a 307 3 spd on the column and the ear is still on the column needing to be ground down. The dash panel is in good condition with an extra one that is in better condition. The front brakes have been converted to power disc and reart is still drum. All brake components were replaced but brake lines were still usable. The rear end is a posi traction 10 bolt with a 3:70 gear 8.2.The tires are brand new Cooper Cobras and I believe the wheels to be called Inky Champ 500's but not for sure. This car has a clear TN title in hand. This car may have a fluid drip here and there so I won't guarantee complete dry perfection but no serious leaks.Low reserve price on this car and I won't even get into what I've spent on this thing. I am only selling it due to having to hire all work to be done to it and no one showing up to finish it.I just acquired a new job with lots of overtime and have decided to pay off some bills and leave projects alone for now.Payment to be made by deposit to Paypal, cash in person or acceptable, verifiable cashiers check/money order before car is handed over.Payment to be made within 7 days after the end of auction. Thanks for looking and good luck!
