Vehicle Detail

I will be adding more pictures Monday July 5th, I am out of town until then. Thanks for understanding!!! My job is transferring me to Tampa in August, so I have decided to part ways with my beloved Continental. You will be hard pressed to find an original Black on Black, California Black plate car in this kind of restorable condition. There is absolutely NO rust/rot/ anything!!! It has 2 small door ding sized marks on it, otherwise straight as an arrow. It still retains the original paint, and at one point had a vinyl roof. The tires are like new, brakes work, and it is basically a very complete car. It does need an engine/tranny. I bought the car from a gentleman in AZ just two months ago. He bought the car from the original owner in California 5 yrs ago. After having the engine rebuilt, he sold it w/o ever putting back into the car. I do NOT have an engine or tranny for this car, however I do know of 2 people that do. The car was originally an a/c car. I could go on for days on this one, call me if your serious. Ryan 919-610-2205 There is a gentleman in Pittsburgh that has 2 engines/transmissions that will fit this car. One is a 10k mile reman block engine with all accessories including a/c, the other came out of a '64 that has 50k miles and includes a/c components. They were removed from the cars by a Lincoln master certified mechanic, so there was no "hacking" involved. He also has 2 trasmissions that work just fine. He is asking $950 for the reman block engine, $750 for the 50k mile engine, and wants $500 for a transmission. He is willing to put them on a pallet and seemed slightly flexible on the price. I hope this helps answer some questions as to how much it will cost to get engine/tranny back in the car. I reserve the right to end auction early for a local sale. Buyer to pay for shipping/transport, vehicle MUST be picked up by the end of July no exceptions! I want to be clear, this is surface only. The floor isn't soft in that spot or anything. I don't know why the buy it now price doesn't show up after 1st bid, but first person with $3900 can buy it. Thank you! On Jul-07-10 at 09:19:17 PDT, seller added the following information:Click on this link for pics of the underside! http://s1009.photobucket.com/albums/af219/morrowryan/
