Garage kept 1981 Toyota Landcruiser FJ-40, hard to find late model, this vehicle has 133k miles. Original F2 engine, transmission and transfer case- all in outstanding condition. The truck drives great, smooth, no wandering, driven no more than 250 miles per year since I purchased it in 2000. I am the third owner. Purchased it as a restoration project car, made many improvements and repairs over time of ownership. I accumulated many hard to find parts to complete the restoration but have never had the time to complete it. These trucks are known to rust. I replaced with sheet metal. It still has a few spots (see pictures). I’m selling it because I have run out of space and have too many toys. Mechanically, the car is in outstanding condition. You will be bidding for ALL of the items under this auction, however, you may refuse any items you do not need or don’t want shipped. I cannot part out the vehicle or sell parts individually. If you decide to purchase this package and then part all of these items out individually, it will be worth more, I calculate over $13,700 in parts, I just don’t have the time to handle individual sales. The truck was maintained during my ownership, I replaced the fuel pump (mechanical), water pump, all engine belts, radiator hoses, brake pads, steering knuckles, halogen (H4) headlamps, muffler (the truck is very quiet), new suspension (4” lift), rebuilt transfer case (all new bearings and seals), clutch (high performance), TO bearing and slave cylinder. The truck has been modified as follows: Front and Rear Differential Locking Third Members (4 Runner) 4 Wheel Disk Brakes Full Floater Rear Axle with Warn Hubs Air Conditioning Power Steering Safari Snorkel Dual Batteries with Switch Weber two-barrel carburetor 32/36mm Exhaust Headers Land Rover Leather Seats Two Police Style Search Lights with interior control Front Brush Guard Rear Tire Carrier with Gas Cans, tool box, and tire wrench 4-Wheel Lockers (the rear wheels can be unlocked) On-board air compressor On-board air tank Off-road air powered truck horns, Rear tire mud fenders. Mallory digital ignition and coil Winch mounted on front receiver. This FJ40 comes with: 5- Yokohama Geolander M/T Directional Tires 4- on road 31”x 10.5” R15 tires on Aluminum American Racing Rims. 2- factory original rims with tires. Original Seats FJ post ’78 hard top and doors with rear ambulance doors, all glass and seals (disassembled). FJ pre ’78 hard top, all glass and seals (disassembled). Soft Top with doors. Original Suspension (not lifted) Smog Pump Many original parts that were removed. Third party inspections are welcome, but will need to be scheduled, I am available early mornings or evenings. The cable/electric lockers are not finished, the compressor needs to be hooked up, the radio is not working, everything else works, if you have any specific questions, please ask, I have tried to include as much information as possible. Buyer needs to make full arrangement for pickup of vehicle and ALL spare parts. I will drive the car within 60 miles to a drop off point, or to Miami International Airport and release the car when payment has been made and the title has been transferred. PAYMENT: I require a $500 pay-pal non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the auction ending and the balance, in cash, in person, or a cashier’s check. If you are paying by cashiers check, the vehicle will not be released until the funds have completely cleared. No exceptions!!!!! As an option, a cashiers check made by a bank that is here in Miami so it can be cashed right at the time of pick up. i.e., Wells Fargo, Chase or BoA. If you plan on using a cashier’s check, make sure the bank is open before you make a trip. A cashier check is not same as cash, please plan accordingly.
