Vehicle Detail

Time&Circumstance dictate that I sell my very very nice Rambler Scrambler This "bad boy" looks fantastic and has enough power to put a few "brown spots" in your shorts if your're not carful! I purchased this car from a long time AMC enthusiast in 2002.This was a very solid car to begin with showing 45000 miles on the odometer. The previous owner had just rebuilt the 390 maybe a little over stock. It runs strong and cool and doesn't use any oil. He replaced the clutch, replaced the exhaust pipes and put on the correct thrush mufflers. I put on the correct exhaust tips. He cleaned up the brake parts, put in new seat inserts, and had some spot in paint work done. Upon receiving the car I purchased five new radial redline tires for it. Then I sent it to a friend's bodyshop as he was looking for a summer project. The car was repainted inside and outside,a new stripe kit was put on,new decals and emblems went on,a new windshield and front and rear glass moldings, new trunk molding, new trunk lock, new carpet, new dash overlay. Previous owner had a replacement dash pad ,unfortunately during installation the basket weave gave out. My wife madea cool red, white and blue cover for the affected area. The original dash pad, records, and rebuilable parts go with the car. As time progressed more items were replaced. Mechanical- Fuel pump, water pump, starter, battery, alternator, voltage regulator, carb rebuilt, master cylinder, heater control valve, horn relay, tie rod ends, front shocks, rear axle seal, gas guage. Cosmetic- Correct battery case, drivers side seat bolster redone, new repo seat lever covers, nos hoodl lip trim, allmost impossible to find, new glove box replaced sill plates, new hurst shifter handle, and shifter boot. This car has about 15k put into it and needs nothing to be enjoyed on a daily basis.! However,as car guys know your'never done! 1-Needs front emergency brake cable. 2-Purchased AMC radio tested fine, but doesn't play in th car-maybe a bad speaker 3-Horn quit again 4Heater core bypassed-Replacement $80-$160 Good luck bidding on this fine automobile
