You are bidding on a prefectly original fabulous one-owner NON restored first generation GSX-R 1100 with only 27,500 km (16,900 miles). I've owned and sold other very very clean bikes before, and this one makes them look rough. It was bought brand new in '86 from the local suzuki dealer in northern Quebec and ridded locally a little every year until last summer. The motorcycle is truly breathtaking. It looks great in the pictures, but looks even better in person. The last year it was ridden, the gentleman bought a set of polished second generation 17 inch GSX-R wheels and tires (used) and found the ride to be better, and it opened up a lot of other tire choices, although he never got around to buying another set. These rims and tires are currently on the bike with good tires and it looks great, but with the bike come the original wheels and tires with a very good tire up front, and a brand new tire in the rear (matching Battlax`s). Personally this would be my wheel/tire combo, but both sets come with the bike with the correct original spacers and original speedometer cable. A year after the presentation of the GSX-R750, a big brother with a 1100cc engine was born. Like its older brother, the GSX-R1100 had a box-frame, full fairing, Full-floater rear swing and a four-cylinder four-stroke engine. It is barely visible when you are up close to the crack, and absolutely invisible from standing right next to it. It is the only defect I have found on the whole bike. It was made from the bike falling over (with the cover on it) in his garage. It is only a crack and no scratches anywhere else came from the fall. It is clean in places you wouldn't expect a 25 year old superbike to be. I put a brand new battery in 2 weeks ago. The bike starts and runs perfect. It shifts fine throughout all the gears with no rattles, shakes or funky noises. Brakes are fine too. The ORIGINAL windshield is really nice with no cracks. The bike comes with original Suzuki cover and cover bag, original wheels with tires as stated above, original CHAIN AND SPROKET!! in very good shape still, original speedometer cable and wheel spacers, owners manual in original bag, and 2 keys. If you want an UNRESTORED first generation GSXR1100, there is no better bike for you.
