I've got a 1975 Datsun 280Z for sale this week. It would make a great summer project! Comes with a N42 Intake Manifold, 4 speed transmission, and high-flow fuel pump (255 lph). It runs! The downsides are some electrical problems, the biggest of which is an improperly installed aftermarket ignition, which is the most likely cause of the motor only being able to rev to ~3.5k rpm before sputtering out. Up to 3.5k the engine sounds great. I have gotten it running and driven it around the block. Mileage is unknown, but odometer reads 15K. There is only one bad rust spot, the passenger side floor pan, everything else is solid. Considering the shape most 75 Datsuns are in, and the amount of spare parts included in the deal, it's a steal. Grad school is looming and debts will soon be mounting, so I have to let her go.
