Award winning custom pickup, Including best of show full size truck out of 700 trucks, and Best of show motor out of 1300 cars and trucks, at the 2009 Texas Heatwave. Best of Show Paint 2009 austin texas Custom car and hotrod show. Featured in Truckin magazine in april 2010. The motor is a fresh rebuilt 5.7 350 Vortec v8, with "flat top" hypereutectic Pistons. New Vortec heads, valves, and roller rockers. 2008 corvette copper painted block (base coat clear coat) and highlighted aluminum finned valve covers and air cleaner. Edelbrock Air Gap intake manifold which is custom painted and runners polished with a 600cfm Edelbrock carburetor. Set of Sanderson shortie ceramic coated headers with two and a half inch polished stainless steel exhaust, with polished stainless steel Moroso mufflers. The frame is highly modified. Its been fully boxed, smooth out, and painted to match the 08 corvette copper motor block. A mustang II front clip from TCI has been installed as of a Parral 4-link in the rear. the rear end is out of 2003 s10 pickup with a detroit locker and 355 gears. The truck has four wheel power disc brakes. The truck has air ride suspension which allows the tuck to dop down till about a half inch from the ground. When the truck is at ride height the ride and feel of the truck is great. Real smooth and handles great. The transmission is a polished turbo 350 with a True Blue torque converter. And has a 32 in Lokar shifter capped with a custom flamming dice knob. Polish and balanced aluminum driveshaft. A 13 gallon Moon Eyes Spun Aluminum fuel tank mounted in the front of the bed. All the air ride compressor and air tank is mounted under the bed. The wood bed of the truck was stained and clear coated to protect it. In the clear of the wood I have added a metal flake that sparkles all different colors as the angle of the sun hits it that gives it a custom one off look. I built a custom painted center conceal with a JVC touch screen radio. Two pioneer 6x9, two 4in in the kick panels. A rockerfosgate 12in is mounted behind the seat with a 1200 watt amp. The 6x9s and the kick panel speakers has a 600 watt amp. Custom two tone interior. House of color custom mix kandy gold, and beige. The original bench seat core was reused and reapostered with new foam. The seat is two toned with beige and tan ostrage inserts. And has layer of Dyno mat sound insulation under the carpet, and behind the back of the cab behind the seat. We painted the Truck with a House of color custom mix gold kandy.
