Here's a beautiful example of a restored (mid 90's) Ghia. Last year of the razor edge Ghia. New this year was the fold down rear heated glass, better latches for top, far better seats with separate head rests, and of course far safer IRS (independent rear suspension). Driven only several thousand miles since restore. This Ghia looks like new, shines, drives, and runs far better. 1776 Dual port, Dual carb (Solex) K&N filters, and freeway flyer transmission, makes for a more accelerated getaway, and passing power. Keeps engine RPM down at freeway speeds. Engine barely has 3000 miles. Brakes are like new with newer pads, hoses and such. Drums, rotors, have no wear from replacement earlier. GT exhaust gives it a more throatier sound and improved performance. Shifting is easy and grind free. Tires are new all weather. Convertible top headliner and boot in excellent condition. Only a couple nicks that have been touched up. No signs of previous bodywork, little repair on just point of nose itself. Paint and body are excellent, no waves, runs, orange peel etc. Gas gauge inop, sender replaced, will troubleshoot. No Rust what so ever. All and all a very excellent older Ghia. Balljoints, calipers, pads, lines, shocks, (has air shocks in rear), etc. I have an appraisal for $10, 450 done in 1997 (another ghia convertible on here that just went off had a more recent appraisal of $19,000) the car has been driven less than 3000 miles since then, always garaged and covered. Chrome wheels. Seats are comfy and seem more fuller than stock seats.(not sure about that). Overall shows near new!
