***NO RESERVE*** Hello, I am selling my 1990 Volvo 240DL Station Wagon. I have had this car for 3 months and have taken very good care of it. It is my daily driver and I drive it back and forth from Hewitt to TSTC everyday. The only reason I am selling it is because my Dad is giving me his Cavalier which is newer, so I dont need this car anymore. The following is a list of repairs I have had done on the car in the 3 months which I have owned it: New Rear Brake Pads New Rear Brake Rotors New Master Cylinder New Thermostat New Air Mass Meter New Headlight Mounting Bracket New Shocks for the Wagon Door New Windshield Wipers and Back Wiper Idle Mixture Reset New Window Tent all around New Radio Antenna New K&N Air Filter New Xenon 9004 Headlights The only thing I have not replaced yet is the exhaust resonator (making a clanking sound) and the carrier bearing (makes a popping sound when taking off) these do not affect the drivability of the car whatsoever and I have had no issues with it. I also purchased an Auto Check Vehicle History Report which shows no known issues with the car at all. As you can tell from the photographs this car is in very good condition for it's age, the inside and outside is very clean as is the engine bay. The car runs and drives very well for its age, or actually for any car. It doesn't burn oil and doesn't smoke. The lovely tan leather interior is in great shape, with only one small tear on the driver side front seat. It has power locks and windows all of which roll down, it is an automatic and has four wheel disc brakes as did all the 240s. The heater works well, as does the radio. The air conditioner however, does not work and I have never had it checked to see why. The odometer also does not work, so I am not sure of the correct mileage on the car. These cars are getting harder and harder to find so bid now to have a chance at a classic piece of art. I'd give it 10 out of 5 stars! ********** I hate getting rid of it but the wife says it has to go. Serious Bidders only please, Due to the age, this Volvo is sold as-is.
