This '97 BMW 740IL has over 200k miles on it, but is in great shape - BMW rates these motors to a million miles, and the insurance companies rate them to 500k. It's built like a tank, and the ride in the spacious cabin is second to none. It's the nicest riding car I've ever owned. So, what is wrong with it you ask? Nothing major at all.A service engine light came on recently requiring 2 new O2 sensors. Also, the release cable for the emergency brake is broken. These two items will need to be repaired in order to pass inspection. BMW would charge and arm and a leg to repair, but if you can do it yourself, or have a good mechanic, this car is a steal.
