Vehicle Detail

First of all, let me say that this wonderful antique 2-Door Cadillac Coupe DeVille should have been washed and detailed before I took pictures. I will explain why it wasn't, later in this listing. It is much more salty-dog finer than what these pictures show. This ivory colored Caddy is ALL original. It has all the original paint. It has the original 472 cubic inch engine and original transmission. The only thing not original with this is the Custom Cadillac mats I ordered in 1998 for about three hundred bucks, while I lived in Florida. There is quite some history with this fine automobile, which I will try to convey in this description that will be told with all the honesty and integrity and truth, that I unwaveringly possess. It bothers me to sell this east to west coast turnaround, but my situations of unimmaginable disasters in the past few years require me to do so. There is a low reserve price on this, because I need the funds that bad. This vehicle has only 94,050 actual miles. That's barely over 2000 miles per year. I purchased this in 1997 at an antique car show in Ohio, when she was such a beauty, she'd knock your eyes out. I drove it to Florida and drove it nice and kept it nice. In 2004, I came back with it to Ohio and it was still in original mint condition. In 2006, I had a life-threatening wreck, while driving a little Honda. While being in the hospital for over a year, my house burned, completely. After getting back home and making a dwelling, I still find myself unable to do much of anything, due to all my broken bones and injuries. Needless to say, that is why the fine Caddy looks dirty and has developed minor surface rust. It could easily be fixed. I still start the Caddy about every other day and let it run. It runs just as sweet as ever. The black interior of this automobile is almost in MINT condition. Everything there and original. Super nice! Power windows, power seats, AC. The absolute only things this car needs to ride down the road is front wheel cylinders for the brakes. Any mechanic (even shadetree mechanic) could install them in quick fashion. With front wheel cylinders, I would not hesitate to drive this car to California and back. Mechanically, it's that good. If I picked this car up, I would send someone to put on the front wheel cylinders and then drive it. But, as low as my reserve price is, one would not be hurt by having it towed, either. It will need a new vinyl top, as the original ones seams are splitting some. I keep it covered. With integrity, I try to define items to the best of my ability. If you are the lucky purchaser, 20% of the selling price is to be paid through PayPal, immediately after the auction. This payment is non-refundable. When you pick up this magnificent vehicle, the balance is to be paid in cash.
