If you’ve been wanting a TDI wagon but don’t want to spend $$27,000 for a new one but you still want all the good options and a well cared for one then this car may be what you’ve been waiting for. It’s my 02 GLS TDI Wagon with 137k, best color combo and it’s priced right. Read on for a full description. Mechanically this 1.9 Turbo Diesel engine and 4 speed auto transmission are solid. No smoke or blow by when warm or cold. Good smooth power and shifts. Straight alignment and the steering is tight. Brakes also feel good without pulsing or pulling. I just had 4 new Goodyear Tires installed and new front pads and rotors and a new PA State inspection. Exhaust, tie rods, lighting and everything else for PA specks is above par. I don’t have any service history for this car but I did take the timing belt cover off to look at it and the belt is in great shape and looks to have been recently changed, you could contact the Dover Volkswagen where the previous owner traded it in for an exact date. Undercarriage is clean and without leaks. For the age and mileage this car is great mechanically. Cosmetically it’s the same way, nice. Clean straight body panels and paint. No paintwork nor was this car ever in an accident. Shines very well and to be honest the car was not detailed just a thorough wash and vac and this is what you get, that’s how nice the original owner kept it. It does have a few flaws but all very normal; small stone chips around the car, some tiny door dings here and there and a few normal light scratches but any particular VW fan will be very impressed with this car. All glass is nice including the windshield. The interior is very nice. The cloth seats are plush without wear out or tears, carpets, headliner, door panels are all very clean without damage. I have the owners manuals and 3 sets of keys. Cargo area is even very clean. The A/C is ice cold and the heat is hot. All the power options are working correctly. Overall for a 8 year old car I’m very impressed with the condition, anyone will be happy to own this vehicle. I’m asking a very fair $8,999 on my retail lot as well so the auction may end early.
