This auction is for a 1993 Ford Taurus SHO. It has the 3.2 litre Yamaha V6 and automatic transmission. For a 1993 model, it's in good condition and has reasonable mileage. There is not a spot of rust on this car, though the paint is faded in some areas. The interior is decent for its age. There are a few torn seams and a couple plastic trim pieces with visible wear and tear. The car runs, drives handles and brakes well. The only real mechanical problems are the cruise control and A/C. Since I purchased the vehicle last October I replaced the following: harmonic balancer, front main seal, timing belt, oil pan seals, windshield, neutral safety switch, speed sensor, plugs, wires, Fram Air Hog air filter, serpentine belt, 4 tires w/ warranty, and I had the wheels aligned. There are probably a few other things I fixed, I just can't remember. I have receipts for most of the labor and parts. The previous owner had the transmission replaced with a Jasper remanufactured unit ($3000 parts and labor!!!!!). I have paperwork for that as well. I am getting ready to attend WyoTech in California and I'll be bringing my 91 Formula with me. This Taurus needs a new home with a true SHO enthusiast. Please, don't offer me trades. I am trying to get rid of things before school, not acquire more things. :-) Buy it Now and I'll get the AC fixed as well as have the rotors turned and replace the brake pads. A non-refundable $300 deposit is required within 24 hours after the auction ends along with a message or phone call explaining your plan to satisfy the balance and pick up the vehicle. Payment-in-full is required within 7 days after the auction ends. I don't mind letting the car sit if it takes a while to pick it up. Just make sure you keep me informed. I am not against helping out with shipping arrangements, but the title does need to be signed by myself and the buyer in the presence of a notary public, so keep that in mind.
