The vehicle up for auction is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, All Wheel Drive hi and low, fully loaded, 5.2 L V-8, automatic trans and premium cd cassette stereo and keyless entry and alarm equiped. The jeep belongs to a friend who couldn't keep it. The Jeep runs like a top, the transmission shifts fine, it has great tires, good brakes, all power works fine, all wheel drive low works fine, the leather interior is great and the carpets could use minimal cleaning and the keyless entry and alarm all function fine. The issues it has obviously is the rocker panel rust which the Grand Cherokee without the running boards has a plastic moulding that covers the rockers and would work fine on this jeep which would hide and cover the rot cosmetically, the passenger side running board is missing, the clear coat on the mag wheels is peeling, the top center of the windshield gasket is pulled out a little so rain water leaks in there, the a/c needs a charge (i am charging it tomorrow), the ABS light is on which is probably the sensor or plug since it goes on and off and the rear wiper motor needs to be replaced which I also have a brand new one and will try to change that out tomorrow also. All in all it is a good looking Jeep other than the rust, good runner and with a lil work would make a nice Jeep for someone. If there are any questions, e-mail me and I will be glad to answer them.
