This vehicle was my mothers pride and joy. She bought it on a whim because it reminded her of her dad's 1936 Plymouth that she remembered from her childhood. Although the car was basically sound, she had much work done to it: rebuilt brake system, repacked water pump seals, cooling system flush, fuel tank flush, and usual routine tune-up items, and much more. The biggest thing she had done was to have it re-painted. It had some surface rust on the tops of the fenders, but no rust-through anywhere, and no collision damage. It was sprayed with black lacquer, and at the same time, the running boards were re-covered, and all welting between body/fenders was replaced. The interior is all original mohair. 37k actual miles, this car is solid as a rock. It has been stored indoors in a climate controlled garage since she bought it in 1992, and was driven locally in a few parades. It was featured in the August 2008 edition of Cars And Parts magazine (Title: Mom's Old Plymouth). Mom is no longer with us, and it's time for the car to move on to a new home.
