Up for auction is a 1983 Porsche 928s in nice overall condition. When moving from Florida to Wisconsin in 2005 the car was not towed properly and it ruined the 3speed automatic transmission. Lesson learned the hard way. The car has been parked in a storage building since as seen in the photos. Included with the auction is a nice 4speed automatic transmission with 80,000 miles on it out of a 84 928 that had been in an accident. Short of putting in the new transmission (which has been gone through and ready to install) the car should be good to go. Before parking the car couple of years ago everything worked including the AC. Timing belt and water pump service was also done just before the towing incident. Interior is in nice overall shape. Dash and pod have a couple of cracks (minor compared to many others I've seen) and the seat bottoms are splitting hence the Porsche seat covers. Body is nice overall. Couple of rust bubbles by the driver side quarter glass as shown in one of the pics. No other rust issues that I am aware of. The car is an 82 not an 83 Typo on my end. Also the car was resprayed in its original color some time ago because of sun fading on the hood and roof. The odometer gear in the speedo had broke like any other 928 out there with age so milage is a little more than it reads. The front plastic spoiler is in tacked and had been repaired. The last time the motor was ran was in 2006 so I would recommend that the little bit of old gas in the tank should be drained and replaced with fresh before starting the engine.
