Up for auction is a rare, very solid 1985 Mini Ram PANEL van. Rare, so this is already collectible, and in great shape for a resto. A good investment, minimal rust, as it was rarely driven in the winter. Vehicle runs well, and I have taken very good care of it since I bought it in 2005. It has a brand new battery and alternator, however, my mechanic told me that it needs a new computer as there is a short to ground in the computer. The van is drivable, but the battery will not stay charged if left hooked up, as the computer drains it. Worth noting is the drivers side window will not crank down, I believe it may have come off it's track. This van once served as the flagship vehicle for a local car audio shop. It has evidence of a few stereos installed (and removed) at the dashboard. A very handy vehicle, and I don't want to sell it, but hopefully I can find it a good home. As the van is still drivable, licensed and insured, I would consider driving it to a buyer's location, providing it is not more than 50 miles (from Greene, NY). Please Note: as my mechanical knowledge is limited, I feel better to recommend that this vehicle be towed to it's buyer's destination. I have had numerous inquiries about accepting used parts through the mail, and getting the vehicle in a drive-away condition. I do not have or the time ......sorry.
